About Fixer
Know the price before you call a tradesperson
Fixer is an app for iPhone and Android that gives homeowners a price estimate from photos of the room, and gives tradespeople jobs they can price from the very first look.

The price is the first question
When you stand in a room that needs work, the price is the first thing you want to know. Yet it is often the last thing you get an answer to. You call around, book visits and wait for quotes before you know whether the project fits the budget at all.
Fixer is built to turn that order around. The homeowner gets a realistic idea of the price first, and the contact with the tradesperson comes afterwards, with a far better starting point for both sides.
From photo to price estimate
The homeowner takes photos of the room with their phone and answers a few short questions about the job. The camera recognises the room and checks sharpness, light and shake right on the phone, and on iPhone models with LiDAR the room can also be measured.
From the photos, measurements and answers, Fixer builds a materials list, and the price is worked out from real products and prices at nine Danish building supplier chains. The prices are updated every night.
A Fixer estimate is a guide. It gives an informed idea of what the project costs, but it does not replace a binding quote from a tradesperson who has seen the job.
The homeowner gets the price first. The contact with the tradesperson comes afterwards, with a far better starting point for both.
A better starting point for the tradesperson
For tradespeople, Fixer is a way to find jobs where most of the groundwork is already done. A job comes with photos, measurements, a description and a price range, so it can be assessed before anyone spends time driving out.
The tradesperson sees the whole job before buying it and only pays for the jobs they choose. There is no subscription. The homeowner's name, address, phone and email are only shown once the job has been bought. The app covers 34 trades and 357 job types.
How Fixer makes money
Homeowners use Fixer for free. Tradespeople pay per job they choose to buy. In other words, Fixer does not make money from homeowners, but from the jobs tradespeople find worth bidding on.
Who is behind it
Fixer is developed by Tap Media Group. The app is available for iPhone and Android, in Danish and English.
