Marketplace Information
Who operates Fixer, how matching and shared leads work, and what quotes and verification mean.
1. Operator and contact
Fixer is operated by Tap Media Group, CVR 43474030 (VAT DK43474030), Poul Hartlings Gade 7, st. th., 2300 København S, Denmark. Contact: info@tapmediagroup.com. This is the contact point for users, authorities, platform complaints and illegal-content notices. You may communicate in Danish or English by email or through the website contact form without first creating an app account. Tradespeople can also book a free Google Meet with us at https://fixerai.app/en/tradespeople for a walkthrough of the app and help getting started.
2. Who sells what
Fixer is an intermediary and planning platform. Homeowner access is free; professional businesses pay for leads or related platform services. The named tradesperson sells and performs the renovation work. A quote accepted in the app can form a binding agreement directly with that business. Fixer does not collect payment for the renovation or guarantee its performance. Fixer is not a party to the work contract and does not mediate, enforce or compensate if either party does not fulfil it.
Professional profiles are intended for traders acting in business. A registration, phone check, review or display badge does not by itself establish every licence, insurance policy, qualification or legal requirement. Ask the business for the relevant evidence. Consumer rights against the business and Fixer’s own obligations remain applicable.
3. Project matching
For a requested project, matching first limits candidates to businesses in the project’s country with completed onboarding, excluding the homeowner and existing conversations. Within that pool, the main priorities are trade relevance, coverage of the service area and distance. An exact trade match ranks ahead of a generalist match and then other trades; coverage ranks ahead of outside-area candidates. Distance follows and random selection breaks ties.
This quote-request process creates up to three tradesperson conversations, depending on available slots. It is not a promise that the closest or highest-rated business will be selected or that any quote will arrive. A purchase price is not a weighting parameter in this matching procedure.
4. Lead discovery and prices
Website lead discovery is ordered primarily by recency and filtered by eligible trade, availability and purchase access. Lead cards can show photos, area, project type, AI estimate, price and sales status. Additional map or category filters affect the candidates shown. A displayed renovation estimate is not the fee for buying the lead.
Leads are normally shared with up to three distinct buyers unless a different limit is shown. A cap limits purchases on Fixer, not all contact the homeowner may receive elsewhere. Different lead sources and the separate requested quote-matching flow should not be mistaken for an exclusive offer. See Tradesperson Terms for billing and the limits of a lead purchase.
5. Inspiration and automated visibility
Inspiration can be ordered by interests, interactions, category and style, recency, novelty, previously seen items and content quality. Local interactions can personalise your feed on the device; server interaction collection is tied to the analytics choice. Automated post assessment can also limit or hide material.
These parameters describe inspiration visibility, not a guarantee about a professional’s workmanship. A sponsored placement, paid promotion or material commercial relationship must be identified when shown. A lead purchase alone does not constitute a promise of preferred ranking.
6. Reviews and verification
The in-app customer review path requires a project owned by that customer, an accepted quote with the reviewed tradesperson and recorded project completion. Completion can be marked by the tradesperson. “Verified” in this context refers to the recorded relationship; it does not mean Fixer inspected the work or independently verified every statement.
We prohibit fake or purchased feedback, undisclosed incentives and removal merely because a review is negative. Public review access is restricted to eligible verified records on published business profiles. A rating is one source of information and does not guarantee future performance. Report suspected manipulation using the contact point above.
Business registration and review checks are limited to the check described. A profile is not an appointment of that business as Fixer’s agent, a construction inspection or an insurance guarantee. Confirm current licences, insurance and credentials directly with the business before relying on them.
7. Before accepting a quote
Check the business’s identity and address, description and exclusions, chosen extras, total price including applicable taxes, payment schedule, start and completion dates, permits, insurance, withdrawal information and complaint route. Confirm unclear points before acceptance. Keep a durable record.
The work contract is with the tradesperson. Your statutory consumer rights, including an applicable distance-contract withdrawal right, remain in force. The homeowner and tradesperson terms describe these roles; a page of general terms does not replace the information required beside the actual quote.
8. Data and contact
Project previews and contact disclosures are explained in the Privacy Policy. Buying a lead authorises project-related access, not resale or unrelated marketing. Public profiles, reviews, posts and share links have different audiences from a private project conversation.
Fixer receives business, transaction and service data necessary to operate the platform; a tradesperson receives the records permitted for its account and purchased leads or conversations. These terms do not require exclusive use of Fixer or prevent lawful use of other channels.
9. Complaints and redress
Send platform complaints, content notices or a request to reconsider a restriction to info@tapmediagroup.com. Include a specific identifier and explanation. Work disputes should also be raised directly with the responsible business. Relevant courts, regulators and eligible consumer or sector complaint bodies remain available.
Any legal exemption for a small platform affects only the particular obligations covered by it. It does not remove consumer rights, privacy duties, core hosting obligations or responsibility for Fixer’s own conduct. Local law may impose additional requirements where you use the service.
